At my school there was a can drive for we care. I decided to finally use my $25 dollars on can foods. I bought about 5 grocery bags full of canned food. I brought it to my school and now i'm on the schools website because I brought so much in and they told me i had a good heart. Because I brought in so much, I helped lots of family's have Thanksgiving diner. This makes me feel good and I hope the family's enjoyed their Thanksgiving!

The Brighter Side Singers here at Temple City High in southern California have donated to many worthwhile causes since last April, 2014. I too, donated part to our local Fire Department (to the family of a fire fighter who was killed in action) and to the American Kidney Fund for cancer research (as my mom passed away from kidney cancer.) Thanks John, for the opportunity to help others! I know that many of us will continue to give of our time, talent and money, following the example you have set.

I donated my $25 to my school to purchase food for baskets that were given to families in need within our school. Along with the rest of Student Council, I spent a few hours after school filling the baskets with food. It was a good feeling to know that I was able to make a difference in my school community.

I donated my $25 to an organization named The House That Love Built. My cross-country coach's wife took notice of a homeless woman who often walked past the school playground where his wife supervised. His wife asked the custodian of the school if he knew the homeless woman's name. It turns out that her name was Tami, and my cross-country coach's wife's name is Tammie! With the help of donations, she was able to win an online auction for a 400 square foot home for Tami. She had just the right amount of money to buy the home. My coach's wife is currently working on refurbishing the home. Tammie wants Tami to feel at home and be proud of her home. The organization is in need of donations, furniture, landscaping, etc. I decided to donate my money to the organization because I love the story behind it. It reminds me that I have the power to make a difference in the world, that I have a seed to sow.

My $25 went to "a home for my wife" MIke Rogers is a husband whose wife Debra needs a healthier home. She has a multitude of illnesses. They are staying in a friend's home because their home is making his wife sick. She has extreme chemical sensitivities. They found a home that they cannot afford right now because they have spent so much of their savings on medical supplies. This website :gofundme.com, has been set up to donate $25 dollars and share 25 times in order to spread the word and make enough to move out of their friend's home,
